Agreed. Something just doesn't seem right. In order to afford all of those programs he wouldn't have had much left over from his pay, from what I have found about soldier's salaries.

That is, unless the military gets discounts. That might explain the costs. But it still doesn't explain why anyone would buy ALL of those packages at the same time. Most people would do their homework and select one, or maybe two of them.
