Dialup users are lucky. In my day, we wrote our messages and search queries on paper, and mailed them off to the internet. It would take days or even weeks to get a reply! And sites with heavy graphics? Forget it, it could take months just to refresh the page! (Boy were those painters kept busy!) Man, were we stupid! But think how stupid all those people were before the Internet existed at all! Wow!
