Hi cherokee69,

Well, ...... Yes .............. and ..... no.

It all depends on what you want to do.

If you want to practice using DGS to make a true replica of a wood structure that is true down to a high level of detail, then the answer is ... no.

If, on the other hand, you want to use the final model in renders and there are areas of the structure that will never be visible, e.g., rafters way up inside in a dark corner (unless someone like NSG crawls up there with a flashlight ...)

... then the answer is ........... yes.

Ok?

P.S. There is, also, something inherently satisfying about having accomplished something that is not easily done ... even if no one else ever sees it, no? ;=]
