I have more than one day in my life to take one good picture. Having a new camera did not make me a better photographer. If I go out looking for that 1 great picture it never comes. I know one thing, if you go get yourself better,then one day just go set out on what you like doing best(hike,walk,sitdown in a field),I am sure that the scenes will just appear.
