It's good to think about this and practice in your mind what you would do, maybe then you won't be so paralyzed with fear. Also, remember to BREATHE! Sometimes doing the unexpected will catch the attacker off guard. If someone tries to abduct you, scream, yell, fight, whatever, (even if they have a gun or weapon). If I'm gonna die then I'll do it right there instead of being taken to a deserted place where I could be tortured, raped, or probably killed. (These are my feelings anyway). Years ago I was attacked in my home by an intruder (while I was asleep). When I realized that I wasn't dreaming, I began screaming at the man to get out of my house, I grabbed a belt that was nearby (the only weapon I could see), and fortunately for me he took off. I've always thought that by doing the unexpected it caught him off guard.

There are a lot of things worse than dying, being afraid all the time would be one.
