....Thanks......first, when I refer to render I mean using the render settings to their fullest (Apply textures, anti alias, cast shadows, etc.). Sorry I wasn't clear about that, but if you render this way the image will be washed out due to the high intensity of the lighting. A single frame "render" (i.e., render to an AVI file using the current display settings) was used. I then opened the AVI in Adobe Premiere and extracted the single frame as a bitmap. You could probably achieve this by changing the render settings, but I find the AVI render gives me more flexibility with the size I can set the image to (the document window only allows me to go up to about 750X750 max and I've had trouble rendering to a new window in Poser even with the patches). Transparency sort of works however it is the grainy look you see before you render, not the refined transparency produced when a render is complete. Krel
