I still don't follow. How is rendering a single frame and rendering a single frame as an avi any different in Poser? I can get the same results with either, depending on how I set it to render. Rendering an avi using current display settings does not render lights, textures, bump maps, etc. Or even anti-alias unless you select it. This is the same for rendering a non-avi scene. Just go into the render properties window and uncheck everything, leaving anti-alia on or off, depending on what you want. Is this not the same as rendering an avi with current settings? Like I said, I've tried and get the same results so maybe I am missing something here? Anyhow, your results came out very nicely. You can do the same thing as the Avi render by anti-aliasing the document (go to render antialias) and then paste the pic onto the background and export it as an image to file. By the way, you can add those nice paper texture effects to a pic this way. Load background. Turn on paper texture, such as paper grain. Paste to background. Turn off paper grain setting. Background now has paper grain effect. Rob
