The light settings are not brought over - only the "geometry" information (incl. texturing etc). BTW, the automatic update of modified pz3 (and other imported formats) is a Pro feature. Not available in Vue d'Esprit 4 or Vue 5 Esprit. What you should check always as well when you import Poser characters is highlight color and size. Poser does treat them a little strange (black highlight color, very big size). If you change those settings (material by material i am afraid of) the things will look better in Vue - in my eyes of course.
