Wow this is very cool. The only thing that catches my eye is the sun should be at least partially covered by cloud. And the light should be a bit more diffuse (softer shadows, maybe?). If the light isn't coming from the Bryce sun, you could adjust the amount of soft shadow in the light lab until the shadows aren't 100% soft, just a little bit softer. The ocean looks great, the pirates, and the ships, too.

This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.
