Yes Yes joffry! I've found that too as well as some trying to use spaces in front of the name and - or _ to try and "separate their files from others".
While during creation that can make sense if a creator has a large runtime themselves but once it's offered to others it should all be redone with consideration to the Default Poser structure.
Yes the DAZ installers are a pain as the newer ones are harder to 'tell it where to install' but I still ALWAYS install new files to an EMPTY folder and then migrate into 'my' structure; like others here have said Vicky Characters with Vicky, Vicky Clothes with Vicky Clothes, Vicky fantasy clothes with Vicky Clothes Fantasy (notice how the last two stay alphabetical in the hierarchy structure??)
Vendors should learn to think "Professional" and not "Deception Advertising Cr*p". I know some of those ploys work on weak minded individuals but I personally look beyond those foolish ploys and wonder to myself "What idiot fooled their idiot boss into giving them a raise for that idiot idea, and what idiots actually fall for such foolishness".
P.S.
To all those 'adversiting specialists' that may be reading this: The human brain processes Numbers and Letters, not symbols! Do your homework!!
