lol, you'd wonder who those readers might be. Hitler? Pol Pot? Saddam? Long long time since I read it, but I suppose you could say that one message of the book (far as I can remember) is that human beings are social animals, and want to be part of groups, and will manage to form groups and survive in all sorts of adverse circumstances. One way of strengthening a group is to have a common enemy, or to pick on members who won't conform. Apart from that I don't remember enough about the book to comment. Maybe someone who read it more recently will contribute an opinion?
