I'm not interested in "getting rid of older PC's". The 32 Bit operating system will be around for many more years. I'm just interested in getting a Windows XP 64 Bit OS for my OWN USE. I really don't don't care if other people don't want to upgrade to it (but I don't think that will be the case). This same thing happened when Microsoft came out with Windows 98 and many people clung to their Windows 3.1 for many years- (or many still clung to DOS and said "I will never use anything except DOS!") I really don't care what other OLD OS's or computers other people use- I'm personally interested in getting the BEST system hardware and OS WITHIN REASON (I could get a CRAY or an SGI, but they don't run the cheaper and easy to use programs like Vue 5, etc.)- so upgrading to to 64 Bit Windows won't require the cost of a new car, and won't require everyone who uses "older computers" to get rid of them. BTW- Vue 5 REQUIRES an OS above Windows 98- and I feel very certain the reason why E-on did that, and why Vue 5 runs so much BETTER than Vue 4 is that E-on made it a fully 32 bit OS application and stopped trying to make it compatible with OLDER Windows 98. Progress IS a GOOD THING. Not EVERYONE has to go that that way, of course...
