Operaguy, the fact that the Euro is worth much more than the US$ right now has little to do with European policy. All you have to do is look at the fact that the US$ has dropped significantly compared to almost all world currencies. It is an indisputable fact that the US currently has an implicit low dollar policy. End of story.
