More observations:
The Gravity adjustment does indeed work. It seems to impose a constant adjustment; that is, the spline is shifted downward without being modified. That is a very helpful feature. A useful refinement might be to avoid applying the gravity adjustment in the early frames (like a ramp-up). In other words, at the start of a figure's sudden motion, the magnets / MTs would be in their normal initial position. Applying Gravity as it is applied in the current version of the script means the magnets / MTs are already pulled down before the motion starts.
CPS seems to affect the amplitude of the spline but not its frequency (or, if you prefer, the periodicity of the "twanging"). But I may be missing the intent of the CPS factor. I noticed the effect of CPS was the same in Jiggles4.
