oops... cross post. Yes, thinking about it, you're right that Gravity should apply at all times. I guess it's tricky since gravity is already reflected in the shaping of the character at rest. So perhaps what I was looking for was gravity-based adjustment to the amplitude of the peaks and troughs of the ytran of the magnet / MT driven by motion of the parent body part. But my blood sugar is low so I may not be thinking clearly. More after lunch!
