Dee, I'm just wondering when an NDA (which doesn't stand up in court in the vast majority of cases, btw) is an excuse for not doing the right thing? I'm also wondering what r'osity feels it has to hide when requiring its volunteer staff to sign one. It's certainly not as though Cindy were giving the "secrets" of the server away. Or passwords or anything else involved with the actual running of the site. (Maybe if she had, the worthless database might have been run in the correct manner.) I think you and the rest of the "powers" at r'osity fail to realize that without the work of the artists being uploaded free of charge to r'osity, you wouldn't have your "kingdom" to play with in the first place. Is this the manner in which they're thanked? By censorship, repression of ideas and back-stabbing? It certainly appears to be from my point of view. Excuses are a dime a dozen. Positive action is quite rare. I'm only seeing and hearing excuses around here. A sad statement to the effectiveness of the "leadership" I might add. Maybe if all of you were more concerned with honesty and the just treatment of the rest of the staff and the members, there wouldn't be a need to change volunteer staff on such a regular basis. When it becomes a "crime" to stand up for the individuals who are the very reason for the existance of this site, something has gone terribly wrong. And that is NOT an opinion...that is a statement of fact. Regardless of your excuses and protestations of innocence, the majority of blame lies squarely on your shoulders. I guarantee you that had you treated Cindy with the respect she justly deserves, she would still be here as a coordinator. Cindy has been a mentor and guide for the majority of photographers since their first day on r'osity. She is the one person who has made this a positive experience for all of us. Most importantly, she has earned our respect and love with hard work and dedication. Can you say the same?
