My apologies in advance for those who feel they have to respond and will not be able to - this thread has deviated far too much from the original discussion (Pricing difference between US and Europe fr e-on software). And unfortunately, it has become too polarized. Yes - it is unfair. It is a business practice - some company chose to apply it. Some do not. Some are even worse at it. No - it is not just about making money at the expense of Europeans. Reality is often a lot more complicated than that. Try to run a business and you will find out that, sometimes, you are taking unpopular decisions for all sorts of reasons. Yes - I am 'censoring' this debate in some ways. This is part of my function as a moderator - keeping this place as welcoming as possible :) Please check out the appropriate section in the Vue Forum FAQ (link at the top of this page).
