1- Vue 5 has been unstable for some people since the beginning. It used to be very unstable on my machine until the latest update - now I have no problem with it. How much memory do you have on your system ? 2- This is a known issue for e-on. In Vue 5, wireframes are colored using the main color of the texture applied to them. Unfortunately, when taht texture is white, objects are drawn white on white. Until they fix this problem, you can work around it by selecting your 'white' object in the world view, and assign to that object a different 'preview' color (the list of colors is available just above the scene preview). 3- That problem is caused by the way Vue 5 takes samples of its environment for a radiosity effect. You can reduce the size of the samples (and get rid of these 'patches') by increasing the Quality Factor in the Atmosphere setting for Radiosity. Of course, that will also increase your rendering time by quite a lot.
