heyas; most clothing props (or figures, for that matter) are built over the nude models they are made for. the obj files of the models are actually a bit back further than the figure appears in the workspace when you load it. so if you open a shirt prop, say, and it is slightly to the back of your figure, that's what's going on. when you load a prop, you have to position it where you want it, and then parent it to the figure. that's just the way it is, you have to do SOME work. :) the smart props do know where they're supposed to go and usually snap into place. after you get the shirt (or whatever) on the figure and parent it, save it back to the prop library. it should tell you the prop has a parent and ask if you want to save it as a smart prop. say yes. :) (at least, that's how poser 4 works... can't remember if they had smart props in p3. i think they might have.)
