Hey, hey, hey This is looking great! Although I do have to agree the poly count is large. Perhaps you can can decrease the amount of polygons where they aren't needed. For example some parts in the upper arms and forearm where there aren't so much bending. The scalp too doesn't need that high of a polygon count. Thighs and shin. Some thing that I found to be missing is the topography of your mesh is too orderly. I am referring to edge loops that make out the shape of the muscles and our body part. If you look at the upper arm there is outline of a bicep or tricep. Also in the abdomen area. This is vital if you want the figure to pose realistically the way a human does plus it'll make it easier when you want to add morphs. Take a look at Vicky2 or Vicky 3 topography and you can see how good and defined their outlines/edge loop of their meshes are. Keep the fantastic job!
