The biggest suggestion I would make is to add some audio to give it some context. I thought the motion itself was nice and smooth but I couldn't tell if it was laughing, screaming demonic curses, or what. I liked the texturing a lot. I also would have liked some background or environmental context, but it may also be that I'm 'looking for a story' while you're primarily experimenting with technique. In other words, I may be looking for more than you intended. ;-)

lol bobasaur - no frills tests ;) actually i was checking alot of things with each render and you can see a progression from the first one to the third in terms of motion and keyframe animation - like the tips - and softbody-style movements.
also, keeping the filesize down is number 1 so no audio is needed - and the extra rendering time to get a floor in would not have been worth the wait.
the texture was fun, thats for sure. but im not sure about the high gloss finish -
thanks for looking!

I think the texture really looks cool. It lookes like a techno-ethereal being. A computer demon, perhaps... Maybe it could be the ebot that sends us notification when we post here. [grin]

Some of you might remember an animation from a while back. Well I've redon the whole thing. youll need quicktime v 6.5.x to view. Not sure how long my BW will last so save to your HD if you can. If there are any other poser animators here - Definately give your 'animators' feedback - I'm still learning, and balance is sometimes a problem. ;)
