It's a plug-in with general support for adjust digital images to look more like film photographs, and getting a lot of other effects depending on contrast, colour shifts, film grain, and the like. It has the abilitry to save plug-in settings to allow an effect to be repeated, and there are free downloads of many such pre-sets. It looks, for instance, to be a good way of converting colour to monochrome, either black and white or faking chemical processes such as sepia toning. Is that good enough a description?
