I suspect curls aren't easy to do in Poser. You don't see many curly styles.

There's the Alicia Hair at RDNA. It's an afro-looking style, but comes with morphs that allow you to make it shoulder length or even a little longer. The extra texture pack has several shades of red.

If you have Poser 5, you might consider using dynamic hair. Kirwyn's Genesis Hair (in the RMP) is easy to use and comes with a great tutorial. You can make dynamic hair any color you want, and it's also pretty easy to change how curly or straight it is.
