There is only one book for learning Carrara and that is the Carrara Studio 3 Handbook. So for sure get that. You will run across big problems with the second tutorial on building that airplane unless you are really framilar with Carrara. I would also go for the CD if this is your first time with Carrara. Its not a great CD but like the book its the only one around and will speed up your introduction to Carrara. Get it also. If you use or have used other 3D application you will at once have to get used to the Carrara coordinate system where the z-axis is the y-axis and the y-axis is the z-axis. Saving your models you will be given the option to correct these axis on export so you can use them in other 3D applications. Good luck and check back often.
