Thank you Jordy for that history lesson. I mean that, I am rather envious of my neighbors around the world who have serious history, not unlike the US which can only go back 229 years to discuss it's "history" as a nation. You describe events that happened "on your street" or close enough that happened 400 years ago. 400 years ago "on my street" there were probably "Native Americans" and piles of buffalo dung with nary a dream of important social upheavals taking place. One of these days, I'll be able to afford to take a trip to your part of the world and see where the important events of history took place.
