For my experience, Fortune City, unless you pay for it, suxs has way too many ads, popups & distractions. I like using the Tripod, UK version for my homepages, there's only a sidebar ad and a popup blocker will block all popups. and it has a php database and it doesn't put any restrictions on you. And, you can upload all your media files, including music. I have a 3D site there, works just fine for me. (JMHO) :)
