well, the way it works here, is that if you make a threat, and it's reported back to the Secret Service, you're put on a list (it was 6 figures long back in the early 90's, last time I saw this come up), and, every time the President visits your area(or any succeeding President) for the rest of your life, the Secret Service will contact you and want to know your itinerary for the entire time of the Prez's stay. I kid you not. This was way pre-911..
