Make sure to try the camera out before you buy it. I jumped the gun a couple of years ago and bought a Kodak DC 260. It was top of the line, but I didn't try it at the store. It eats batteries, and is very slow in processing pictures. I can only take two shots in succession, then I have to wait about a minute for the camera to finish "processing pictures". I don't know if their newer ones are any better.
