Pascale, That is the issue. There are so many that if they have not been adopted in a certain amount of time they have to be put down to avoid severe over crowding. This group places the animals in foster homes and in kennels. They try harder than many groups to find homes for these little guys. If more people could open their hearts and homes then the problem would decline. If everyone would open their wallets then more could be spade or neutered and severely limit the problem.
