i've followed both the previous threads and didn't deign to comment. i had pretty negative impressions of the render in question, but, felt that the "artist" didn't really deserve the attention he was getting. i commented on his picture, but, purely from an artistic viewpoint....ie perspective, composition, etc. now, i am reading a number of you are leaving the site because of this hoopla. good grief. seems you're cutting off your noses over a set too in the forums. that surely gives the render alot more power than i think it deserves. and, this type of stuff was foreseeable in the forums when they shut down the OT forum.
