From what we have been able to learn, the entire hi-tech industry of PRC is based upon theft of technology from the U.S., Europe and Japan. The most recent case to come to light is the theft by the PRC of Hitachi hard drive technology, which has forced Apple Computer Inc. to review their policy of out-sourcing manufacturing functions to PRC.
