Anyone who did not see the need for episode 3 to be a tragedy is not paying attention. For the series to finish properly, we must witness the death of the Queen, the orphaning of her twin children, and the climax of the film must be the moment of choice in which Anakin Skywalker becomes fully evil.

Personally, I hope Lucas does not turn away from the horror of these moments and does not inject 'artificial relief' into them.

The series is already ruined for me, however, by the redemption of Vadar at the end of Episode 6. That was not just. Shakespere would not have allowed it, nor Akira Kurasawa.
