I won't buy P6... 1) Until I actually know it works 2) Until I actually see the content and know the details of the new features, P5 fixes, included content 3) Until I know what the response times are 4) Until the first price drop after release 5) Until all the suckers who bought it have used it at least a month, so I don't have to do free alpha testing for CL again 6) Until I know that the problems that were inherent in P5 have been fixed 7) Until I actually see one freaking render posted using P6 that isn't a cheap promo shot from CL. I'd be a lot happier with the idea of purchasing P6 if CL hadn't done the pre-release program. After CL intentionally released P5 with known, major bugs because of cash flow problems, I think I'd be an idiot to buy P6 until it's proven and the level of fixes needed (as in any new program) are minimal. I WILL buy P6 when... 1) People are actually using it, and I don't see a complaint about something new for a week. 2) I know that CL isn't using the pre-release as another "get cash so we don't close" ploy. 3) There's a proven market for P6 items. 4) When I know that Content Paradise is either a seperate program from the main program, or can be easily removed. 5) When we get, and I'm not holding my breath, a public apology from CL for the release nightmares of P5. Frankly, I still think CL should be giving a free copy of P6 to everyone who purchased P5 on pre-release. And everyone who participated in the public "Beta" test of whichever of the the service packs they ran here. You know, they never said "Thank you" to us for doing all that free beta testing either.
