There are several benefits to beta testing. And do not forget the best pleasure of all! By beta testing, you are in close contact with the creators during the development stage, and this means that you CAN actually influence the product in the way it develops! I would like to give a little secret (I hope I do not do something wrong - time has passed and I think this is something I can give away) :-) : back in the days of Vue 4 beta testing, I suggested -quite near the end of the beta stage- that the stars (a new feature then) should be available coloured as an option, and not just white. Well, my suggestion was accepted, and Vue 4 featured, as a quite late change, the coloured stars! Of course this kind of thing does happen only rarely, but sometimes it does. So if you do the beta tester, you CAN actually influence the software you love the most, in a direction that you wish! Orio
