Subject: Importing Poser into Hash Animation Master??

Is this possible? If so, HOW

heyas; if you mean, with full functionality? no. hash is a spline modeller with bones. poser is a polygon modeller with... not. :) if you want to do obj or 3ds imports or something... you'd have to check with hash about that. try the '3d applications' forum, there should be some hash users there.

The current version of AM has builtin DXF import--stuff imports as a prop with no UV mapping. Blech. There are obj import plugins out there that will preserve your uv mapping and possibly your mesh cuts but they're not supported by hash and you still have to, ahem, bone your figure afterwards. Hash has a mailing list you can join but in my experience they're not real friendly to poser questions--the answer I got was essentially "why would you want to import anything when you could make it in AM?" Thanks all. It seems that I'm stuck with a interesting problem. I guess I should just stick with the "Poser to Bryce" route. But it seems to be a shame because AM seems to have such wonderfull posibllities... Ah well. Has anyone used the Curious Labs Pro Pack yet? As you can probably tell, I'm not keen on doing fianl renders in Poser by itself.
