I never make recommendations for cameras..... as Simon and Onslow pointed out it's a very personal thing to me too.... my needs are surely not the same as everyone elses and vice versa... that's why there are so many choices... I will say though that after getting my dslr (D70) I will never use any other type of digital camera again.
