I use Poser for doing storyboarding for illustration and a comic I'm working on, that I draw by hand. I have to say I DEFINATELY prefer using the low-res models for this. They're easier to pose, and gobble less memory/hard drive space. I generally pose them nude and add my own clothes when I draw. I only use the high-res for close-up or "attitude" shots; I use it to help me get a feeling for the character I'm going to draw, and help me decide what s/he looks like.
