Subject: Realistic Renders in Poser 5

Personally, I think deep down in that wonderful material system and the Firefly renderer, there is the capability to make realistic renders. The big disadvantage is Poser's poor lighting system (until P6 maybe) and it does require some Poserite skills not needed in other packages (to get lighting, shadows, etc. just right for instance). As for lights, which are crucial to begin with, definitely avoid the default light set and use either an available one (for free or purchase) or something like a light dome to simulate global/ambient/diffuse lighting. Beyond that, I'll step aside for the true Poser masters to give specific tips. :)

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.
