This is so cool, and would save so much time setting up the macros I want to shoot. Yea! thanks I'm convinced I need to build one of these. One question about the shallow depth of field, did you have to shoot wide open because of lack of light, camera/lens limitations, or aesthetic choice? I'm asking to decide what kind of lights to buy. BTW what was your lighting source?
