  1. How many people worked on this 5 minutes of really great animation? To the best of my knowledge, one. Philippe Bouyer, otherwise known as Phoul. He uses Vue, Poser, After Effects 6.5 pro, Particle Illusion 3, and off the top of my head I can't remember which audio package. Mesh models were either Poser content (where he does all his figure animating), or provided by others listed in the demo. 2. How long did the total project take? Phoul will have to answer that...but keep in mind that it was done with the beta of Infinite, as the release candidate hadn't gone gold when he was doing it... ;) 3. What computer platform was it created on? Hardware specifics please. 4. Renering. How long per frame? If on a render farm, how many nodes, (with specs} will I need to re-create such a great project? The Infinite RC only had the basic 5 node liscence enabled, so no more than 5 nodes were used. -My- rendergarden's weakest box was an original Athlon 700 with all of 384 megs of PC-100 SDRAM. Something like an Athlon XP 1700 or above, with 512megs of PC-133 or DDR-266 will provide more than enough power, as well as being robust enough to support other distributed network rendering, such as After Effects Pro has. Of course faster chips and more memory bandwidth will speed up the render... Outside of TALENT (which I know is alot) what do I need and how long does it take to achive similar results? Phoul is a cinematographer who was bitten by the CG bug a few years ago. So he came into Vue with a firm grasp of the camera concepts, and professional lighting ideas. He's also one of the few people I know who has apparently grasped all the possibilites of the functions system.
