Subject: Anyone know where I can find Free Framing software?

Various artists have created 3d picture frames for Poser... SAMS and maclean come to mind, but there are several others. There are filters and plug-ins for PhotoShop which will give you the look of matting, but I don't think any of them do a 3-D type frame. You can use layer styles to make a frame, or you could make a frame in PhotoShop and save it as an action which could be applied later. These would be cheapest (free), but would require that you spend the time to make at least 1 frame. I prefer to build my own custom frame for each piece... but then I worked in a frame shop decades ago handling museum pieces and learned about an incredible variety of framing techniques. If I'm hanging a show at an SF con I want my pieces to have similar framing, otherwise each piece deserves a frame built for it. You can go plain or fancy, but if the frame brings out some color or detail or texture in the image, it has enhanced it. Carolly
