To just link your P5 runtime library to P6, go to the topmost folder in the library window. Then press + and select your P5 runtime folder.
To link all of your P5 runtime libraries to P6, open RuntimeprefsLibraryPrefs.xml of P5 and P6 in a text editor. Then, copy all <ContentFolder ... /ContentFolder> from the P5 config and paste them to the P6 config. If the first ContentFolder entry of P5 reads folder="Runtimelibraries" replace it by the complete path of your P5 Runtime.
If you want to uninstall P5, first move the geometries, libraries, and textures of your P5 Runtime folder somewhere else. Uninstall and then move them back to the Runtime folder. (If it was deleted during uninstall, create it again.) Then you won't have to care about any file references with an absolute path.
Of course, you also can use tools for organizing your Runtimes like my Poser File Organizer, available at the Renderosity store.
