pentamiter your spot on there about the crims in this country. Thats why anyone without a TV licence is an easy collar. The assumption is everyone has a TV, if you ain't got one your're obviously a REAL dangerous crimnal. Mate got caught once. I went to court with him and watched while lots of old people and familys who forget to re-new theirs where fined an average of 4000 each. Yet the little sh*ts that you see every time in the local paper walk out free because their drugs councillor says "their trying hard". While the court found him not guilty, He still got a criminal record and 40 costs. His crime ? Buying a TV capture card for his video camera to make DV movies. Because the law here and the licence states "appratus CAPABLE of reciving a TV signal", and not just a TV or vid. Also handy to note retailers have to give TV Licensing (TVL)details when you buy TV, DVD, Freeview etc or they get fined upto 2000. So if you ain't got a license say it's a gift and give a mates address who's legit. Also when the nice man from TVL arrives you don't have to let him in despite what he says. The only way they can get access then is by asking a magistrates court under an old 1949 law. Of course you'd be in court as well so you'd know when the buggers are coming....:) al

Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.
