Hi raf1, I had a similar problem also. Go to e-on's registered user forum. You can find out about how to deal with this, and then contact e-on through their tech support. My problem was that my v4pro serial was pirated, and v5i, of course, got disabled. e-on issued me a new serial number for Vue 4 pro, and everything is O.K. now. I'm a happy man. The eco system is a immense shock. I hope this was helpful to you.
