Yippee!

Pat... time to pull you out of the throes of old man winter (well if THAT isn't a mixed metaphor!... but I'm seeing the tendrous roots from Old Man Willow but made of icicles) out into the springtime. My native iris are blooming, and the bulbs are coming up. (And yes, the migraine is nasty tonight.)

As to what to bring, some one of us ought to make or bring spring rolls (or other spring-related item) before I decide to do "spring-fed mattress upon a bed of laurels with a delicate bare-nose sauce". Richard is one of the few punsters I know who can cook creatively... the rest of us hope that the choking is due to laughter? Heather will pun when building furniture, but takes her cooking quite seriously. (One of these years I'll learn to really cook instead of just baking my way into gatherings.)

I'm just going to suggest "something you'd like to make" whether it be an old reliable or a new experiment. We should have nice weather. (Today was just perfect.)

Got an IM from dacort and he said that they'll try to make it. Bonnie and Don were both over this afternoon (we were mumbling over the carcass of a SCZI scanner), and they've both calendered it in. And when I was at CuriousLabs on Monday, I invited those good people and it is possible that we'll have a special guest or two. :)

Have to get more invitations out, but it is starting to look like a party. ;)
