I would write to her and see how she obtained this effect - but my guess would be that she did this in post after rendering - the only way I've found to get realistic grass is to either use a picture texture or to paint it in yourself during postwork - if I'm wrong though let me know because I would sure be interested in how she obtained this grass in Bryce.
