I've rendered an image 3 times with different settings. Please help me to choose which on is best. If possible alos comment on why you picked this one. The above is image #1

#3 PS: I'm not really keen on the tent in any of them (if I can add that here).

There is very litte difference between one and two, but would pick number one. The difference I see in them is the shadow, each getting darker. 3 to me is too dark.

I'd actually have to go with #3 for the exact same reason it wasn't chosen by Ms Outlaw, I like the darker shadow, it helps make the image more realistic (especially since the tent looks too well lit in #1 and #2 given that the sun is the only source of light). If I had to guess, I would say you used a standard lighting model for #1, global ambiance for #2, and either GI or full blown Radiosity for #3, just a guess though.

The terrain texture in #3 seems the best to me. Overall, I have to agree with nanotyranus.

#3 for the same reasons as above. Prefer the lighting, shadows and terrain textures of #3

I must tell you that 3 is the best. Except in all of them the black night is in a strange position.Can your legs really rotate outwards that much?
