Hi there,, I had the same problem, but i think another way. Its nice but if u want to have very close views than it sucks. The grass in the picture was made with this style. First create a terrain. Go to Terrain edit and new. Take the grid of 512 Click the Spikes effectten times. Now you can edit the shape or multicopy or resize as u wish. You just have to make this in a nice looking scale.
