Now me, I'd have given 'em all heart attacks by showing up in full robes with my familiar, SSSimoniusss. (He may be "only a plushie" but he is a very realistic serpent, enough to scare the daylights out of any snake-o-phobes, which means everyone in the house, so I have to keep him outta sight but that's okay, he likes dark places ;-) Or maybe wearing just the cloak, hat and a t-shirt, but one with a nekkid Snape on it. Now that would be worth enduring a hellfire & brimstone rant, just to see all those Muggles imitate house-elfs.
