Nancy, do be sure that you have the latest drivers for your new card. The reason I advise this is because I bought a new nVidia card just before I bought Poser 6. At first I thought something was wrong with the program, because it would close itself whenever I tried to open a saved scene. I remembered reading someone else's advice about this, got the latest drivers for the card (which were only released in February of this year) and ... presto! No more Poser 6 crashes.
